Iranian Ambassy Receives Condolences for Bandar Abbas Explosion Victims
A large number of Arab and foreign ambassadors and diplomats accredited to the country as well as clerics flocked to the embassy to offer their condolences
Mohammad Totonchi Iranian Ambassador to Kuwait, affirmed that the generous condolences offered by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister, and the Kuwaiti leadership and people over the Bandar Abbas port explosion have soothed the wounds and eased the pain.
This came during the Iranian embassy's condolence ceremony for the victims of the explosion, which resulted in hundreds of casualties and injuries. A large number of Arab and foreign ambassadors and diplomats accredited to the country, as well as clerics, flocked to the embassy to offer their condolences.
Totonchi explained that "this fraternal sympathy that we witnessed from the Kuwaiti people and the attendees at the condolence book ceremony confirms the depth of the strong fraternal ties that bind our two neighboring peoples and proves the saying that neighbors come before home."
