Celebrating the 47th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran

On the occasion of the 47th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, the National Day ceremony of our country was held by the Embassy of Iran in Kuwait.

In this ceremony, a group of high-ranking Kuwaiti officials, members of parliament and the municipal council, ambassadors and diplomats of Islamic and foreign countries, members of the Kuwait-Iran Friendship Association, journalists, cultural, political and academic figures, economic activists, and families of Iranian residents in Kuwait attended.

Samiha Jawhar Hayat, Assistant Undersecretary for Asian Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, attended the ceremony as a special guest representing the Government of Kuwait. After the national anthems of both countries were played and the speech by the Iranian Ambassador, she participated in cutting the ceremonial cake together with the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps (Sheikh al-Sufara) and the Iranian Ambassador.

On the sidelines of this ceremony, an art and handicraft exhibition as well as documents related to the relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Kuwait were also set up, which attracted the attention and admiration of the participating officials and visitors.
