Important Notice Regarding the Change in Validity Period of Visa Issued for Travel to Iran

We hereby inform all esteemed applicants that effective from 29 April 2025 the validity period of visa issued by the Islamic Republic of Iran will be reduced from 90 days to 45 days

We hereby inform all esteemed applicants that, effective from 29 April 2025, the validity period of visa issued by the Islamic Republic of Iran will be reduced from 90 days to 45 days.

Accordingly, the holders of Iranian visa will be allowed to enter Iran within 45 days from the date of visa issuance.

The visa validity period refers to the time frame starting from the date the visa is issued, during which the visa holder is permitted to enter the country.

Please note that this change applies solely to the validity period of the visa. The duration of stay, which is the length of time a traveler is permitted to remain in Iran after entry, remains unchanged and continues to be up to 90 days depending on the type of visa issued.

This adjustment applies exclusively to single-entry and double-entry visa. The validity periods for multiple-entry visa (three-month, six-month, and one-year) remain unchanged.

Visa issued before 29 April 2025 will retain their original 90-day validity.
