Expansion of commercial and economic ties between Iran and Kuwait

Mohammad Toutounchi, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran received Javad Ahmad Bukhamseen the CEO of Bukhamseen Holding Group, at the embassy.

In this meeting, which was held with the presence of Emad Bukhamsen the editor of Al Nahar daily Newspaper, and Sami Al Nesif the former Minister of Culture and Information of Kuwait , the two sides discussed the development of trade relations and economic cooperation between the two countries and emphasized the need to use the existing capacities.

Javad Bukhamseen, while praising the positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran in supporting Kuwait during the Iraq's Baath regime attack on his country, said that Iran is considered the big brother of the countries in the region. He added: By relying on the common religious, historical and social ties of the two neighboring Muslim countries, we must have a more effective presence in the Iranian capital market.

In turn, the Iranian ambassador appreciated the role of Kuwait's foreign policy in mediating and resolving regional issues and tensions, and emphasized the importance of forming a joint chamber of commerce between Iranian and Kuwaiti businessmen.

Mohammad Toutounchi invited Kuwaiti businessmen and investors to visit the construction and economic projects of Iran and learn about the countless capacities and golden investment opportunities in the fields of industries, agriculture and tourism.

He added: The realization of peace, security and stability in the region is for the benefit of all countries, and the Supreme Leader and the President of Iran have always emphasized these axes.
