Iran new ambassador to Kuwait meets FM Amirabdollahian

Iran’s new ambassador to Kuwait has met with Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian before leaving for the place of his mission. During the meeting, Mohammad Toutounchi outlined the latest state of relations between Iran and Kuwait and spoke about the most important plans for expanding ties with the country.

During the meeting, Mohammad Toutounchi outlined the latest state of relations between Iran and Kuwait and spoke about the most important plans for expanding ties with the country.
While stressing the need to expand ties with neighboring Muslim countries, Amirabdollahian gave Toutounchi some instructions to help boost ties in all areas with Kuwait, especially economic and cultural relations, as well as the affairs of Iranians living there. Toutounchi has previously served as head of the Persian Gulf Second Department of the Foreign Ministry and as deputy ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Muscat.
